Michael Sobieniak Jr. Obituary – “Mike” or “Cabover Cowboy Death

Michael Sobieniak Jr., known to many as “Mike” or “Cabover Cowboy,” passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 50. He lived in Sylvan Township, Ohio, and left behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and love for his family.

Mike was born on November 14, 1974. He was a proud father, son, brother, and friend. He worked for many years as a truck driver and was well known for his dedication to the road. His nickname, “Cabover Cowboy,” came from the unique truck style he drove and the pride he took in his work.

More than anything, Mike loved his family. He was a devoted father to his three children, Kennedy, Ketchen, and Kwin. He is also remembered with love by his father, Michael Sr., his stepmother Beth, and his brothers and sister, Mark, Christopher, and Lori. His nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart.

Mike had a gentle spirit, a great sense of humor, and a strong work ethic. He made friends wherever he went and treated everyone with respect. He loved animals, especially dogs, and supported causes that helped care for them.

A memorial service was held on June 28, 2025, at Reeb Funeral Home in Sylvania, where family and friends gathered to share memories and honor his life.

Though Mike is no longer with us, the impact he made will live on. His kindness, loyalty, and love for his family will never be forgotten.
