Preston Arndt’s laughter once echoed around Alberta’s campfires, bringing warmth to chilly nights and smiles to everyone nearby. Today, that laughter is painfully missed. Preston tragically passed away in a sudden accident, leaving behind a legacy built not just in steel, but in kindness, community, and hard work.
A humble welder by trade, Preston founded Arndt Welding Services, where he crafted practical solutions for local families, farms, and businesses. His work wasn’t just a job it was a lifeline to many. Later, through his company The Container Guy, Preston transformed ordinary steel containers into custom-built dreams, turning raw materials into workshops, storage, and even homes.
But more than a builder, Preston was a helper. He was the kind of man who showed up without being asked. Whether it was fixing a neighbor’s trailer, lending a hand at a community event, or sharing a good laugh around a fire, Preston gave of himself freely.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, who was not only his partner in life, but in every step of his journey. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and service to others. His loss is deeply felt by all who knew him friends, clients, coworkers, and countless others whose lives he touched.
To Preston’s family and loved ones: we share our heartfelt condolences. May his memory live on in the sparks of every welding torch, in the hum of a job well done, and in the warmth he gave to so many.
Rest in peace, Preston. You were truly one of a kind.
